Our flow control solutions will support essential services such as fuel pool cooling, containment heat removal, and non-safety applications like wastewater management.

Flowserve has entered a strategic collaboration with Aalo Atomics, a Texas-based innovator in advanced reactor technologies. Under this agreement, Flowserve will design and manufacture primary sodium pumps and critical flow control components, leveraging decades of expertise in sodium flow control dating back to the Experimental Breeder Reactor-II. This partnership underscores Flowserve’s commitment to enabling global nuclear energy expansion, driving innovation, and supporting future projects with proven, reliable solutions.

Flowserve is supplying critical pump and valve technology for one of the UK’s largest clean energy projects, supporting fuel pool cooling, containment heat removal, wastewater management and safety of the secondary circuit. The project will deliver low-carbon electricity to six million homes and play a key role in the UK’s energy independence.

Flowserve has received official approval from the U.S. Department of Energy (10 CFR Part 810) to be able to manufacture safety-critical pumps for India’s new reactors at our Coimbatore, India facility.
This achievement, made possible through our collaboration with Core Energy Systems Limited and carried out in support of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) and India’s Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), marks a significant step forward in India’s nuclear growth and the global clean energy transition.
